BRIEF Rethink and rebrand the visual identity and packaging for Dill's Dexter Beef. Dills' Dexter Beef from Kerrykeel on Mulroy Bay breed the miniature Dexter Cow. Dexter cattle originated in Ireland in the 19th Century, but because of their small size, they were used on trips across the sea providing milk to passengers. They were brought to England in 1882 and have travelled around the world as far as Africa, USA and Australia. Sam and Cathy Dill's Dexter cows are grass-fed and naturally salted by the sea. They sell direct to the consumer at local farmer's markets and to high-end restaurants nationally. SOLUTION For this brief I choose to use a very simple aesthetic, using lines to create the logo and illustrations that represent who and what Dill’s Dexter Beef are. The packaging is a tough, textured brown paper, which gives the brand an overall rustic feel. The illustrations and type are black and white, which is clean and simple letting the product speak for it’s self.
